I went shopping on Saturday and got a few bits from superdrug, new look and top shop
As far as beauty products go this is what i got
While browsing in newlook trying to find an outfit for that night i had a little look at the 'star gazer' make up brand that new look stocks i got two of the nail polishes which cost £2.50 each, i got #503 which is the lilac shade and i also got #501 which is the dusty pink color. I then went on to superdrug and picked up a Barry m nail paint in #264 'pink iridescent' which is a glittery color with a light pink tint to it. And lastly i got the L'oreal lash renewal serum, after tanya burr mentioned this on her blog commenting on how its the reason for her lashes looking longer and fuller i had to pick it up, I'm going to include a picture of my eyelashes at the end of this post so i can document the results *fingers crossed*
I decided to try out one of the nail polishes out today and picked #503, its a lovely nail polish it only took two coats for a strong color and i like the formula. i decided to top it off with a coat of the Barry m polish for a pretty glittery top coat :)
Day 1 - eyelashes at the start
On to the clothes, now I'm not one of those girls who has to have her whole wardrobe filled with the tophop label don't get me wrong i think they have some amazing things in there sometimes but i feel its become a bit over priced and i can never justify spending over £25 on a tshirt ! this doesn't mean i don't have any topshop in my wardrobe but I'd much rather £100 to spend in h&m any day. all this aside though walking past topshop the other day i noticed they were having a sale so rather than just walk past the shop like normal i decided to have a look... and i came out with a few bits
2 denim waistcoats, Ive had my eye on these for ages but didn't want to pay £30 for it so seeing it in them in the rack made my day ! the lighter of the two is a size 16 but when its on i think it looks fine and the darker denim is a size 12 which is perfect because I'm a size 10-12
I bought them for £15 each reduced from £30 :)
I thought this little budgie cropped jumper was too cute to pass up, also in a size 12 i got this for £12 reduced from £28
Then to the newlook bits i went into newlook knowing one thing i was definitely getting....
These heels are my absolute favorite shoes right now ! i first got a nude/beige pair and fell in love with them and i instantly knew i had to have them in black as well, there so comfy and i feel like there very easy to walk in i believe there about £25 and in my opinion are 100% worth it
And lastly i bought this adorable black dress which in my opinion reminds me of twiggy, its black with layered fringes on the front i haven't got a picture just yet as i wore it on the weekend with the black heels but when it comes out of the wash i will get a picture up :)
